REAL ESTATE TAX BILLS ISSUED WITH DUE DATE OF MARCH 01, 2024 WERE PRINTED BEFORE NOTICE OF CHANGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TAXATION. DUE DATE IS CHANGED TO MARCH 22, 2024.

Due to valuation changes and a longer time than normal to receive approval of tax rates, per the Ohio Revised Code, the State Department of Taxation has extended the 2023-PAY-2024 FIRST HALF REAL ESTATE TAX DUE DATE TO MARCH 22, 2024. No penalties will be charged to unpaid First Half 2023 pay 2024 tax bills until March 23, 2024.

The County Treasurer collects taxes and is the Investment Officer for the county. The Treasurer also is a member of the County Budget Commission, the County Board of Revision and the Data Processing Board.

Our processing third party contractor Paymentus LLC, charges users a nonrefundable convenience fee for the use of this service. The Trumbull County Treasurer’s Office does not receive any part of this fee. E-checks have a fee of $1.00 per e-check. Debit card and credit card payments have a fee of 2.5% of the total payment. If your payment cannot be processed, your tax liability will remain outstanding and you will be subject to applicable penalties and interest. The amount necessary to reimburse Trumbull County for chargeback fees, legal fees, or other expenses incurred by Trumbull County as a result of your payment processing rejection or cancellation will be invoiced to you by Trumbull County.

  1. Open the Property Search page

  2. Search by your name, address or parcel number

  3. Choose the correct parcel

  4. Scroll down to "Pay Your Taxes Online" section and click the Pay button

A state of emergency has been declared for the entire state of Ohio to protect the well-being of Ohio citizens from the dangerous effects of COVID-19. In addition, the World Health Organization has declared the global coronavirus outbreak a pandemic. The Treasurer’s Office is responding to COVID-19 by focusing on the “social distancing” aspects of the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations. As such, the following operational changes will be in effect until further notice:


EFFECTIVE AUGUST 8, 2022 THE TRUMBULL COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8:30AM TO 4:00PM

A FACE COVERING OR MASK IS ENCOURAGED TO ENTER THE OFFICE.

OFFICE SAFE DISTANCING WILL BE PRACTICED WITH A MAXIMUM OF THREE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ALLOWED TO ENTER AT A TIME.

NO CASH PAYMENTS FOR TAX BILLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
LIVE IN PERSON PAYMENTS OF CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.

PAYMENT BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER CAN BE MADE THROUGH U.S. MAIL.

PAYMENT BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER CAN BE PLACED IN THE HARMON AVE DROP BOX OR THE FIRST FLOOR LOBBY DROP BOX.
